Silver Mountain Christmas Trees is based on our steadfast determination to grow better, more beautiful, longer lasting Christmas trees.
What started as a humble Christmas tree farm, has grown to include tree genetics, seed orchards, acres of conifer seedlings, custom designed machinery to cultivate better seedling growth, and without a question, it has grown to produce top quality Christmas trees for homes throughout the world.
Today, we grow a little more than 3,500 acres of premium Noble fir, Grand fir, and Douglas fir trees in the beautiful Cascade Mountains, shipping 300,000 to 350,000 trees a year-loading nearly 500 semi's each season. We process trees 20 to 24 hours a day on every day but Sunday. Many years ago, we turned our harvest over to the Lord, realizing that if he wanted us to harvest for six days, and to honor him on the Sabbath, it would happen. And it surely does.
Silver Mountain NurseryIn addition to the sale of fully grown Christmas trees, Silver Mountain Nursery has our own 200-acre, state of the art facility dedicated to the research, planting and growth of one and two year old seedlings for sale to other growers. In our quest for growing large quantities of beautiful, healthy trees, we began designing our own tools to get the job done better and/or more efficiently. These are machines like our Vacuum Precision Seeder, or the Reciprocating Undercutter Wrencher and our Lateral Root Pruner, which trim the roots on growing trees to encourage better root growth. These tools are now available for sale to other Christmas tree growers and nurseries.
