Silver Mountain Christmas Trees pursues the highest standards of excellence in the trees we grow. The story begins with our own seed orchard, special proven trees with the most desirable genetic qualities. 
These trees are then hand pollenated, and then hand harvested 45 days later.
Great care is then taken in developing the proper soil for planting, and the seeds are planting using our own, specially designed Silver Mountain Equipment. Each machine has been designed for the unique needs of the Christmas tree, controlling seed depth, vertical and lateral root growth, and proper watering and fertilizer. Once in the production fields, the trees are sculpted and cultured every year—some varieties, twice a year. This hand-sculpting assures uniform growth and a beautiful shape.
After 6 to 8 years in the field, the Silver Mountain Christmas Trees reach maturity. Teams of two will walk the fields and hand select trees for harvest, grading each one and tagging them for the harvesters.
